Mock Warranties: protection plan terms
Version 1.0. Effective October 6, 2026.
**A demonstration.** Mock Warranties, Inc. is not a real company, and these plans are not insurance. They exist to show
how a warranty's terms can be bound to its purchase with the Legal Context Protocol (LCP). Plans are paid in test
USDC, which has no value.
1. What a plan covers
- One item from one order at integralens.store, named in the plan's agreement record by the order's fingerprint.
- **Accidental damage** (drops, spills, cracks) from the day the plan is bought.
- **Defects** in materials or printing that appear after the shop's own 30-day window.
- The 1-year plan covers 365 days from the date the item's order was paid; the 2-year plan covers 730 days.
2. What a plan does not cover
- Cosmetic wear that does not affect use: scratches, fading, small scuffs.
- Loss or theft.
- Damage done on purpose.
- Defects reported within the shop's 30-day window: those are the shop's to put right, under its terms of sale.
3. Claims
- A claim is decided by the version of these terms that the plan's agreement record holds, and by nothing else.
- A covered claim gets one replacement of the item, made to order and shipped at no charge. A plan pays out once.
- A claim needs the plan's fingerprint. A plan paid from your own wallet also needs a signature from that wallet.
4. Cancelling a plan
- You may cancel a plan for a full refund within 30 days of buying it, if no claim has been made.
5. General
- Mock Warranties may change these terms for future plans. Each change takes a new version number; a plan is
governed by the version its agreement record holds.
- Questions: this is a demonstration; see integralens.store.
